Claudio Cavalieri was born in Trento in 1950; he obtained the artistic high school diploma in Applied Art at the Alessandro Vittoria Art Institute in 1972, starting to exhibit his works and since 1977 he has been teaching Art Education. Since 1989, his already material pictorial works have resulted in a marked three-dimensionality with compositions in reclaimed wood, including the cycle of works with wood from the Vaia disaster.
He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions such as "Il Muro al muro" in 2019 for the thirty years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, "Incontri d'Autunno" with Venetian artists in 2018, "Encuentro" in 2016 between Trentino and Catalan artists and traveling collective “Artists with Special Statute”, and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad including in Wuppertal, Hamburg and Templin in Germany and Vienna (Austria).
Cavalieri also dedicates himself to sculpture and installations: since 2000 he has been adding decorative techniques used in the 1950s-1960s, preferring pastel shades of blue, purple and yellow.
He has been a member of several Trentino artistic associations, including "Arte Europa 92" (from 1992 to 2003), "Fida Trento", from 2012 to "Event Art" and from 2020 to the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di confine di Rovere Association. of the Moon (TN)
