Margaret Nella was born in Brighton (Sussex-UK) in 1964 to Italian parents, and from an early age she was attracted to the manual arts including sewing. In 2000 she deepens its secrets by attending the courses of Ina Georgeta Statescù, Yoko Saito, Marian Frühauf, Pat Archibald, Cherilyn Martin, Denise Laberdie, Isabelle Wiessler, and joins the Italian Patchwork QUILT ITALIA.
Through the Quilt Italia Association you exhibited in 2016 in Val d 'Argent (France); she in the years 2005, 2006, 2008 in Turin (Italy) and in 2006 she too on the Island of Elba, in 2008 in Milan, while in the years 2012 and 2016 she exhibits in Bergano, Italy. He exhibits in solo shows in Caderzone Terme (TN) in 2016, at the Judicaria Study Center in Tione in 2011, in bi-personal exhibitions such as stipulate at the Craffonara Gallery in Riva del Garda in 2018, and in numerous group exhibitions with groups of artists in Trentino (Italy) in Riva del Garda, Madonna di Campiglio, Terme di Comano and Pinzolo.
Among the group exhibitions are: in 2020 he participates in the charity exhibition ART IN FAVOR OF CIVIL PROTECTION at the Kunst Grenzen Gallery in Rovere della Luna, during 2019 at the AIPI VISUAL ART in Rovereto, TRAME D'AUTORE in Chieri (TO), JJC Center in Connecticut, USA In 2006, 2018, 2019 she participates in the FESTIVAL OF QUILTS held in Birmingham (UK) and in the years 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 in VERONA TESSILE. In 2016 he exhibited at the ONCA GALLERY in Brighton (UK), in 2014 he was in Merano (BZ).
She gets several awards including 1st prize at the ALA-CITTA 'di VELLUTO textile competition (Ala-TN, italy) in 2019, 3rd prize at the MONTAGNE art competition in 2010 and 1st prize at the PAINTED MOUNTAINS in 2008.
