Born in Kakanj (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1960, after a regular military career in 1993 he was forced to expatriate due to the war and arrived in Italy and settled in Laives (BZ-Italy) and took care of maintenance in Bolzano. He begins to paint and write since adolescence and it is through poetry that he will learn the Italian language.

Among the numerous events in which he participated, we remember: in 2018 he realized "Roots of words - Presentation of poems of Persia and Bosnia -" with Nina Sadeghi, in 2019 in Laives he participated in "Artimmersion 11" and in 2020 in "Artimmersion 12", again in 2020 he is among the poets of the "Portrait: portraits of poetry" event and in 2021 at the group exhibitions "Versi in-forma: homage to the poet Angelo Magro" and "Clouds: artist visions to remember", in 2021 is “A new Italian” interview and readings by Mugdin Cehaic at the Parco dei Cappuccini (Bolzano) and free readings at the Spazio Arte 121 in Madrano for the "Artist's Residence" project by Antonello Serra, for the Italian Provincial Library Claudia Augusta in Bolzano gives an interview with poetic readings.

Mugdin is a member of the Writers' Circle of Bolzano, of the Laives Cultural Circle of Lettera7, and of the Cultural Association Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera aps of Rovere della Luna (TN - Italy).
