Onorio Bravi was born in Portico and San Benedetto (FC) in 1955 and currently lives and works in San Zaccaria (Ra).
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna in Painting and since the 1980s he has been responsible for projects and sets of allegorical floats, receiving numerous bonuses and awards.
His graphic works are preserved in the Repertoire of Italian Engravers of the Cabinet of Ancient and Modern Prints "Le Cappuccine" of Bagnacavallo (RA) and at the National Library of Madrid, Ministry of Education and Culture.
Invited to the XXVIII edition of the Biennial of the Painted Wall in Dozza (BO), he also exhibited by invitation in numerous other personal exhibitions, one of the most important at the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, within the Tempo Forte project “Italia - Greece 2019”. Particularly significant for his training was the period spent in Algeria in the first half of the 1980s, for those traces of "Ethnic" flavor and for the mixtures of the Mediterranean basin evident in his works; period that leaves a profound trace in the atmospheres of his works.
His works are present in public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
