Ramani Sandro

Sandro Ramani was born in Trieste on July 14, 1967, and has a degree in Political Science. Since 1995 he has worked in the social sector in educational projects and services aimed at disabled people and minors.
A self-taught artist, he creates works balanced between reality and fantasy: his female portraits depict alternative, dark, austere women, wrapped in a silence that flows into decisive and refined chromatism, placing at the center the strength of the diversity that inhabits us. Worlds, therefore, interior and exterior that do not stop in search of sound but that push beyond, towards its echo that fascinates and breaks down the barriers between us and ourselves, between us and others.
At the Teatro Silvio Pellico in Trieste his works are on permanent display with the title “Ritratti in nero” and in 2019 he was a welcome guest at the commemorative group exhibition for the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall “Il Muro al muro” in Palazzo Thun in Trento. Among the latest exhibitions, we recall that in 2023 she participated in the group exhibitions "Ali di farfalla" dedicated in particular to women victims of violence in Iran, "Mostra di Arte Trentina moderna e contemporanea" by Kunst Grenzen and ArTre Casa d'Aste in Trento, "Garda See Art" by Kunst Grenzen at the Forte Alto in Nago - Torbole.
In 2024 she participated in the group exhibitions "L'Autonomia è un'Arte - Autonie ist eine Kunst" at the ancient Hospice of San Floriano organized by the autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol in collaboration with the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera aps Association, "Opera-non opera: homage to Bruno Munari" at the Brescello and Guareschi Museum, the territory and the cinema, and since 2022 she has participated in the food and wine biennial of the Arts "SaturnArs" with the creation of designer wine labels.
