Virginia Milici (Tripi, 1954 - ) since childhood shows a strong predisposition for writing and the pictorial arts, with particular interest in the creative assembly of various materials. In the 60s she moved to Lucerne in Switzerland and currently in Treviso, she attended the in-depth courses in oil painting with the teacher Luisa Fabbris (painter and set designer) and specialized in artist's books, which best summarize the artistic techniques to her favourites, but also ranges from photography, poetry, Mail Art and digital art.
In 2007 she obtained the second ARTELAGUNA international painting prize, in 2010 she was invited to be part of the New Manifesto Fluxus-Mabius U.S.A. she and establishes the International Archive of the Artist's Book NabilaFluxus, in 2012 with the personal exhibition "50x50 = 50" promoted by the Municipality of Morgano (TV) she formalizes the IOSOLISM MOVEMENT.
Since 2013, one of his Artist's Books has been part of a Fluxus traveling itinerary in the United States until it enters the permanent collection at the Fluxus Museum archive in Saint Louis, while in the same year another Artist's Book goes on permanent display at the Library of Macerata; since 2016 the work "Women and cancer" has been on display at the Kent and Medway Medical School and subsequently acquired permanently by the University of Kent Special Collections and Archives, in 2020 a work is at the Cantonal Library of Lugano for "New routes. The journey through the artist's books".
Curator of artistic events and artist, she has to her credit numerous personal and group exhibitions of painting, artist's books and the Postal Art-Mail Art sector, as well as having been selected in the competition "Woman who are you?" at the Palazzo dei Convegni Jesi (AN), "Pret a Porter" in Pomezia (RM), 1st Art Competition "COLORS IN EMERSION"; in 2014 she was invited with her Art Gallery Museum NabilaFluxus by Michele Nicolé to present her artist's Book Archive during the fourteenth edition of the Golden Green Trophy first at the Padova Golf Club and later at the Albarella Golf Club in Rovigo.
The artist donates part of her artist book archive to the Municipality of Morgano Veneto and in 2022 part of her to the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di Frontier Gallery for permanent exhibitions and more.
She has also participated in charity events such as the Auction for Elisa Pitigliano ARTEXPO' 2008 at the former granaries of the Orsini Fortress in Pitigliano (GR), the first CAIF event (Centres of Attention to Childhood and the Family) Uruguay "Latin American friends Project 2009" at the Spazio Donna of the Prefecture of Frosinone, and organized the itinerant collective "IO VOGLIO…PEACE, AMORE, RISPETTO" at the Palazzo del Turismo in Riccione (RN) whose proceeds from the auction were donated to help women and children of Mayungo (Kenya).
Virginia Milici then ventured into important artistic performances such as "The DADA Ghost", an itinerant performance for the centenary of DADA Art Verona 2016.
